If you´re around the Estepona-and-Marbella area there are two theme parks not to be missed. SELWO SAFARI PARK in Estepona is one of them … It´s just a great day out. This huge wild tropical parkland where animals live in their natural habitats ... Selwo Safari Park brings the jungle to life and brings in the visitor ´closer` whilst at the same time respecting the animals and their space.

You’ll be able to view more than 500 birds … toucans, cranes, storks, flamingos, pelicans and other exotic birds which occupy the Grand Central Lake and the area known as Bird Canyon.

The Central Village is strategic for viewing the animals in this territory - rhinoceros, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and antelopes is by all-purpose truck …



… but, if you fancy yourself as a bit of an Indiana Jones it´s much more fun to go on foot crossing the Great African Bridge, a 100mtr. long and 16mtr. high footbridge and later the three hanging bridges further up in the Route of the Valleys.

There is so much to see … but, whatever you do don’t miss the Bengal Tigers, the Bat’s Cave (!) or the Camel rides. All make for an unforgettable day … an unforgettable adventure !

And here you can totally forget that this is the Estepona-and-Marbella coastline and sample the pleasure of eating out in the Oasis, an authentic African-style, open air restaurant. Nothing is more pleasing than being here in this natural setting of exceptional beauty… and listening to the sounds of the jungle ! A unique day out in the heart of Africa.

FUNNY BEACH in Marbella, however, is totally something else. This is one for the hyper, can’t tire them out, won’t stop for a minute kids !

There are activities here though for all the family … karting tracks, jumping mats, mini-golf, video games, electric cars … and …. motorcycles, billiards, jet skis, banana rides, water skiing ... whew !

For those kids who will stop to eat … the restaurant offers a cheap and cheerful menu, although for a family day out here you’re going to need a pocketful of euros !

The charges for children’s activities range from 2€ to 7€. Other extras to enjoy include boat rides along the coast and fishing trips … both with skipper.
