La Quinta Golf and Country Club

As you play La Quinta and look out from the hills over the famous Marbella Golf Valley don´t let your concentration wander. Even for the Costa del Sol these are extraordinarily beautiful views …

… but, you´ll really need to pay attention as this 27 hole (3 loops of 9) course can more than challenge even the best of golfers.

The combination of wide and narrow fairways and the undulating terrain makes for a very demanding and exciting course.

But, here, you´re also provided with the best possible practice and learning facilities … three putting greens, a chipping green, a driving range and of course, the famous Manuel Piñero International Golf Academy.

Exciting though it is it may be that the challenge proves too much. Maybe you decide that you really have had enough for the day, and probably the week … that maybe golf really is not your game after all ... and that you’re seriously considering selling your clubs when you return from this particular Golf Holiday ...

… well this is the time to relax, just return to the luxury and tranquillity of the Westin La Quinta hotel… have a swim or indulge in a massage in the Oriental Spa …

… and then later perhaps you can drive along to the nearby charming old village of Benahavis (locally known as the restaurant village) and choose from the enormous variety of speciality restaurants ... order a glass of Rioja wine, have a good meal...

… and then … on second thoughts … Scarlet O’Hara style … you might have another go tomorrow !
