SUMMER FUN

Come the summer holidays there will be many mums looking for some summer fun to entertain the kids. Here we have a few ideas which we hope will be of help.

Quality Courses based on language learning and sports activities run summer camps in several venues in Marbella and Benalmadena. The web-site address is: www.espanol-en-espana.campamentos-de-verano.com. If you´re a working mum ... or even a non-working mum (!) then it might be an thought to check out the sports clubs in your area for summer camps. Here in Mijas Costa, Lew Hoads Tennis Club (952474858) and El Club del Sol in Calahonda (952939595) both have summer camps for kids of all ages.

You can also take advantage of the Racecourse facilities here in Mijas. Santi and her team of monitors have either half day or full day programmes of horse riding classes throughout July and August.

She takes children from the age of three years and she also gives individual classes to physically challenged children. The summer fun classes start from 9.30 so just go along and check it out. The Hipodromo (952592700) is situated just by the Chaparral Urbanisation.

If you have an even more energetic bunch then you might be interested in taking them on a trip to one of the National Parks of Andalucia with the company, Exploramás. They organise a whole host of activities including horse riding, quads, jeep adventures, pot holing, climbing, hiking and offer some of the best rural accommodation. So check out their web-site at www.exploramas.com

Here´s yet a few more adventures to take a look at ... I´ve cherry-picked half a dozen or so and sorted them by area covering …

ESTEPONA and MARBELLA

MIJAS and FUENGIROLA

BENALMADENA and TORREMOLINOS

From summer fun lets check out the beautiful capital city of Malaga for a more cultural day out.
